Universal Components is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.


Policy Statement

Universal Components maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment of any kind. All employees, contractors, and visitors are entitled to be treated with dignity and respect.

What Constitutes Harassment

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Unwanted physical contact or conduct
  • Verbal abuse, threats, or intimidation
  • Offensive jokes, comments, or gestures
  • Display of offensive materials
  • Bullying or victimisation
  • Discrimination based on protected characteristics

Reporting Procedure

If you experience or witness harassment, please report it immediately to your line manager or the HR department. All reports will be treated confidentially and investigated promptly.

Investigation Process

All complaints will be investigated thoroughly and impartially. Both the complainant and the accused will have the opportunity to present their case. Appropriate action will be taken based on the findings.

Consequences

Employees found to have engaged in harassment may face disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. False accusations made in bad faith may also result in disciplinary action.
